Small Groups are the body of Christ at work together – to nurture each other, study and serve.
Discipleship Groups
There are two ongoing small groups that meet in members’ homes:
1st & 3rd Mondays @ 7:00 pm in Solomons
2nd & 4th Tuesdays @ 10:00 am in Solomons

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Those interested in knitting or crocheting gather on Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. We meet in the second floor laundry lounge at the Asbury Solomons Retirement Community. We share our stories, knit and crochet and pray for each other and our church. When we complete our shawls, they are blessed during worship and shared with those who need them.
Senior Lunch Bunch
The first Monday of the month, join all senior adults for prayer, singing, praise and a wonderful lunch. Summer dates are July 1 and August 6. We ask a donation to cover lunch costs. Registration is requested but not necessary. Call the church office for more information. 410 326-3278.
United Methodist Men
All men are invited to join for a monthly breakfast on the third Saturday of the month at 8:00. The UMM serve the congregation and the community with various projects, dinners and Sunday morning coffee hour. http://www.gcumm.org/
United Methodist Women
This is a group of women whose purpose is to know God, develop a creative supportive fellowship and support missions that aid women and children everywhere. http://new.gbgm-umc.org/umw/
Sunday Morning Prayer Group
We gather each Sunday before worship at 8:30 am to lift up our church, our pastor and the needs of our community and our world. We meet in Room 3 upstairs.
